Collaboration with other Companies
The end of the nineties marks Alessi's last evolution (for the time being). Our "dream factory" has become a research
laboratory in the field of applied arts which in the last quarter of the twentieth century, working with the leading
talents of international design, successfully brought together poetry, creativity, culture, vision, sincerity,
modernity and design excellence like no other industrial organisation in the world. Our very nature has led us to
become involved in production contexts that, because of their technological specificity but also the different type of
distribution, could never have become direct fields of operation for Alessi S.p.A. As a result, we decided to offer our
skills in design management and our vision of design as an overall creative discipline to companies working with
products that are far removed from our original one. These are highly specialised companies in their technological and
distribution fields that, in our opinion, with our help could create truly new products conceived for the evolved
public of the twenty-first century. Products characterised by that mix of eccentricity and style, playfulness and
culture, irony and elegance that is distinctive markof Alessi products: a game of opposites for which I think no other
brand can flaunt such convincing assistance and such a specific vocation.
