Sauteuse in multiply. <<The “La Cintura di Orione” is Alessi’s first ever collection of pots and pans, as well as one of my favourite projects. The latter version (which in reality was produced for a short time at the beginning of the millennium) is produced in multiply, that is a laminate comprising an outer layer in 18/10 stainless steel, a middle layer in thick aluminium, and an internal layer in 18/10 stainless steel. In terms of functional performance, it is very close to emulating the copper and stainless steel version’s peerless heat conduction ability. In comparison, it is easier to clean and also offers the benefits of working on electromagnetic heat induction sources and a more economic price>>. (Alberto Alessi)
