Wire fruit basket in 18/10 stainless steel, mirror polished. For centuries metal wire working has been a mainstay of household objects, and Alessi created a tabletop classic with its series of baskets designed in the 1950s and 1960s, which are still in production today. This design harks back to this experience, and adds the interesting innovation of a "rolled-up" edge that highlights the adaptability of the steel wire.
