Cake stand with base in 18/10 stainless steel, foot in light blue PA and surface in hardened glass. The combined use of a noble material like steel and a simple material like plastic raised eyebrows in the 1990s: it may not have been a coincidence that the rules were broken by one of the youngest designers in Alessi's catalogue.
