The City Bag, designed by Finnish designer Kristiina Lassus, constitutes Alessi first foray into the world of bags. It was conceived primarily as a large shopping bag, but may also be used as a general metropolitan carrier bag. Furthermore, it makes no bones about its aspiration to become a small cult object.
