Alessi spa considers irrenounceable the safeguard principles of safety and workers dignity and Environment observance.

For that reason Alessi S.p.A. is seriously engaged to develop, to produce, to distribuite and market products reducing , in realization time and the end of their life, Environment impact and to always assure in all activities and in its own production places , the safeguard of worker Safety and Health.

Our business engagement is addressed to:

• To built and keep alive an organizational structure in keeping with requirements to UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 and BS OHSAS 18001:2007 rules, considering Environment protection and work safety as integral part of Company decisional process.
• To assure the absolute observance of National and local rules about Health and Work Safety and Protection of Environment.
• To value all safety and health risk and all significant environment aspects associated to working activity.
• To improve constantly the firm services both the prevention of accidents and occupational diseases and the check of significant environment aspects and prevention of pollution.
• To pursue improvement aim directed to:
  - to reduce accident risk both for workers and for everybody stays in work area
  - to reduce environment impact due to own activities; to reduce our quantity of produced waste, to reduce water consumption.
  
• To awaken and educate the staff about Health and Work Safety and Protection of Environment, promoting a responsible behaviour and the mentality of prevention of accidents and Environment protection.
• To cooperate with suppliers making attention to Health and Safety protection and to Environment aspects due to their activities.
• To check possible emergency situations and their operation in according with specific procedures and programmed plans of intervention.
• To execute internal audit to check own performance about Health and Work Safety and Environment Protection, to pursue a constant improvement.
