The Budapest Design Week has just ended with its rich program of exhibitions, events, meetings and workshops that has animated the city. Among the most popular events, the encounter dedicated to Alessi, organized by Mobili Mania (1132 Budapest Victor Hugo street 45).

The highlight of the event was the lecture given by Dezsö Ekler, special guest of the evening. The event was opened with a brief presentation of the Alessi Museum and its projects, such as the publication of the series Design Interviews, produced in collaboration with Edizioni Corraini. The Design Interviews collection consists of a series of video interviews - made by filmmaker Anna Pitscheider - each accompanied by a small book illustrated by images and materials from the Museo Alessi archives.

As a world premiere at the event in Budapest was presented a fragment of a forthcoming video dedicated to the “Tea & Coffee Towers” research: twenty architects involved by Alessi in designing a tea and coffee set. Among the interviewed architects, Dezsö Ekler, whose lecture was introduced by the projection of his video-interview.
