With this object Giulio Iacchetti offers us an original take on the classic sommelier’s corkscrew. Taking the form of a stylised key, an ironic reference to the concept of opening, Iacchetti’s corkscrew simplifies some actions such as the cutting of the capsule that protects the cork. This operation is carried out by three little semi-spherical blades housed in a ring at one end of the corkscrew. Removing the capsule therefore becomes an extremely simple and straightforward process both for professionals or at home.
