Through the Nuovo Milano series, Ettore Sottsass designed a particularly large collection of cutleries. The long drink spoon, with a slightly tapered long handle and a slightly elongated bowl, is an indispensable tool for those who want to prepare a cocktail in an elegant way.
The Nuovo Milano service was designed by Ettore Sottsass in 1987 by revisiting a traditional cutlery model in a contemporary fashion. The objects of this series are characterised by soft and rounded shapes which are extremely pleasing to the touch like those of a stone smoothened by the sea. Nuovo Milano is one of the most complete services in the Alessi catalog, offering a selection of 26 different types of cutleries. It is made of stainless steel and created from Sottsass's desire to design all the objects necessary for a "Beautiful Table"; this collection of cutleries is a typical contemporary design, approved by XV Premio Compasso d'Oro.VIEW THE COMPLETE RANGE
