Oil is living a highly deserved moment of glory. Due to some extent to the battles fought by gastronomist and friend Luigi Veronelli, for some years now the attention of the international gastronomic world is finally focussing on the extraordinary qualities of this too long underestimated condiment. We couldn't, therefore, omit a special entry in our encyclopaedia. Branzi's set for olive oils allows up to four small taster bottles to be held for serving. The project was developed with the collaboration of the Consortium for the Protection of the D. O. P. (protected designation of origin) Chianti Classico Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Born in Florence in 1938, architect and designer. Critic on magazines such as Domus, Interni, Casabella and Modo, he was one of the founders of the Domus Academy and is one of the members of the EEC Commission for the promotion of the European design. He has worked for Cassina, Vitra, Zanotta.
