Frana (Italian for Landslide) is a pencil holder designed by Christophe Guberan. The purpose is to maintain visual order on the work desk and provide access to the pencil holder’s hidden contents by simply tilting it and letting its contents slide into view thus avoiding the need of flipping open any lids or panels.
Christophe Guberan (Switzerland, 1985) Christophe Guberan completed his vocational training in architecture in 2006. He worked in this field for a couple of years before devoting himself entirely to design. In 2010, during his studies at ECAL, he designed "Frana" for Alessi and the following year his "Hydro-Fold" was exhibited at the Salone Satellite.
