Part of the Memory Containers metaproject, coordinated by the CSA in the early 1990s and which involved 200 young designers (aged under 30) working in the area of archetypes for presenting and offering food.
The Alessi Research Centre (CSA) was set up in 1990 for two purposes: to draw up theoretical papers on topics associated with objects (to be published as books), and to coordinate work with young designers.
